I had an issue with Snapdeal as I was seeking a refund for the coupon's purchased by me since the restaurant for which I purchased the coupons was shut due to serving products which are banned in my city. After having a lot of mail exchange with the Snapdeal team, I was highly disappointed as Snapdeal Customer Care team seemed to be in no sync with my complaint (though they accepted that they are at fault in the very first mail, I was not getting any satisfactory replies from them regarding the status of my complaint). Every time I had to write in to them to check the status. After doing an online search I came to know about Akosha. I filed my Complaint against Snapdeal at Akosha though I was a bit skeptical as to whether the team would entertain my complaint as the amount involved was very small (Rs. 100/-). To my surprise I got a reply from the team the very same day, and I could make out that they very well understand that for a customer a complaint is not always about the money but about exposing the flabby customer support system that these online business sites boast about.
Akosha team kept me posted about the status of my complaint and within a couple of days the issue was resolved, I wonder how they were able to get the follow ups from the Snapdeal this quick.!
