Akosha helps Mr. P Rao from Hyderabad in getting his Samsung A/c replaced

I am a seventy year old man and had purchased a split AC with Samsung at Hyderabad on 16th march 2011. It was installed next day and worked fine for about 20 days. After wards there was lot of noise in the outer unit and i complained to the customer service of Samsung and every time they sent a technician (4 time in different days in a month) and everybody agreed about the sound and nothing was resolved. I finally got in touch with Akosha.

A friend of mine recommended Akosha and I explained my problem with them and they prepared a letter to Samsung and Akosha; found the address of Samsung in Delhi and sent it by courier. Nothing happened for fifteen days and Akosha was in regular touch with me asking for the progress. Finally when I told them no reply has come from Samsung; they took up the matter and in about week's time Samsung replaced the AC with new one. That is in the month of June.

I really appreciate Akosha for their continuous effort and zeal in serving the customer who had sought their help. I highly recommend the company to all the consumers who are facing problems with their products. They will solve the problem without customer going to consumer court and thus saving the time and trouble.

Naaptol processed my refund quickly with Akosha's help. Thank you Akosha!

I had ordered a blackberry storm mobile from Naptol .When I opened the packet, I found that the piece send to me was a repaired piece as it had labels with bad battery, no head phone, no usb cable no software cd, packed in local plastic, charger with no two pins, then i found out that it was a reliance locked cdma hanset,whereas I had ordered a GSM. I was in a fix as I keep extremely busy and didn’t have the time and patience to deal with these people I called the customer care only to be given false hope.

I am regular on Twitter so I tweeted about my problem, the next day I got a call from Akosha offering their services I was more than pleased I gave them all the details and they kept me in the picture at all times informing me about my case progress.

I don’t think this would have been possible without Akosha. Soon I got a call from the Naptol management telling me that they would refund my money I was more than happy. I am very pleased by the services provided by Akosha and I will promote it always.

Career Launcher set a high standard for customer service!

Editor’s note: After Akosha reached out to the senior management at Career Launcher, they sprung into action and resolved the customer’s complaint.

Akosha: Could you tell us about your complaint?

Customer: Yes, actually it is regarding the test series that I joined with Career Launcher, my point of joining the test series which was to be conducted every week, it was regarding the Civil Services Aptitude test. So, even after 2-3 weeks Career Launcher did not conducted the mock test as per the schedule. This is the problem I was facing.

Akosha: How did Akosha helped in resolving the complaint?
Customer: I lodged a complaint with Akosha regarding Career Launcher. Told them about the problem which I was facing. So, they properly took it up and relatively it was a simple procedure. I just filled up the form and after that they contacted the people of Career launcher and after several attempts they got hold of the main person. This is how they helped me in my problem.

Akosha: What happened after Akosha contacted Career Launcher?
Customer: When Akosha contacted the Career Launcher people, I got a call from the Vice Chairman and sympathized with me about the problem which I was facing and he promised me about the tests that were not conducted, will be conducted as soon as possible. He assured me that whoever has misbehaved or haven’t kept the promises will be taken care off.

Akosha: Do you have anything to say about Akosha as a service?
Customer: I was really amazed to see the speed in the process of solving my problem with Career Launcher. As I was really annoyed and pissed off with the working of the career launcher. Now I would suggest anybody who has any complaint of the similar nature can surely call Akosha as they will help you in solving your problem.

Mars reacted promptly after worm found in Snickers Bar. Kudos to them and thank you Akosha!

 had purchased a Snickers Bar of chocolate on the 5th of July 2011 from the local chemist shop in Mumbai. When a friend and I consumed the chocolate, we realized that there was a worm in the wrapper. This was a totally repulsive and disgusting experience for the both of us. Our immediate reaction was to send a mail to the company. We did that, but the mails bounced back. We posted a comment on the Facebook and Twitter pages of Snickers. But the comment was removed after telling us to call the toll free number. I did not expect this reaction from Mars International, the manufacturers and distributors of the Snickers Chocolates. I wanted to take action against the company for contamination in the chocolate, improper storage at the retailer's outlet, incorrect printing of email IDs on the wrapper and the impolite response and deletion of our comments from the social media.

I heard about Akosha through a friend of mine who had connected with Ankur on LinkedIn after reading about him and his start up.

I was totally delighted with the Akosha team. The response to my tweet on the issue was almost instant, followed by a phone call with advice on how to take this forward. The paperwork and the communications to the company were drafted in no time and sent to the company. The team, especially Ankur was in touch with me almost everyday till we were able to get the top management of Mars International into a dialogue.

Akosha established contact with the head of Corporate Affairs of Mars International and brought the complaint to his notice. Mars International then sent a local representative from Mumbai to meet me to understand my grievances. The head of Institutional Sales from Delhi also visited me, as I had been promised by the Head of Corporate Affairs - who was in touch with me constantly on the phone over 2-3 days.

Mars International has responded with the following through an email to me:

- An apology for the incident.
- They have taken the Snickers wrapper from me and would be sending it to Dubai for the following tests: Tampering of the pack and contamination in the wrapper. The reports are to be shared with me with in the next month's time on completion.
- An official communication has been sent to all distributors on the the batch of the said Snicker bar for a recall.
- All the Snicker Bars from the local chemist store were removed.
- An assurance that the email would be re-printed on the pack so that there is no confusion to the customer on the same. This process would take 6-7 months, and the company has assured to keep me informed on the same.
- An audit into the storage conditions at retail outlets.

Dell promptly replaced my motherboard - impressed with their service!

My Dell Laptop's motherboard was dead & my laptop was still under warranty. But just because the dealer had issued me a hand written bill (with a completely valid VAT no.), Dell refused to do the service covered under warranty. After wasting my time & energy with them on a number of calls over a period of 3 weeks. I finally decided to approach Akosha. Got in touch with the team at Akosha.

Dell finally replaced my Motherboard promptly.

Akosha helped me get a refund from Bagittoday - I strongly recommend Akosha

A friend of mine had recommended BAG IT TODAY package to me. The offer by Bag it Today was really attractive & I was extremely unhappy with the package. I asked them for a refund but my refund was not processed for over 4 months.

I took the onus to take this ahead with the Government authorities, so that such events do not happen again. I posted my complaint on Consumer Court discussion forum online & thought that I shall get some help from the same. Then I realized that it’s just a forum & not a legal complaint against them. Someone from Akosha team must have read my complaint & my contacted me. They sent me a email introducing themselves & some more details about their success stories in resolving customers complaint & helping them way out. I contacted Akosha & explained them about my problem.

Dear Akosha,


First of all thanks to your  quick and  exact response to my problem. I really congratulate the consumers that now they need not to worry against their problems against the brands, companies. Now there is someone who is with you to raise your voice against the companies, brands and their monopoly behaviour.


I was in worry as the warehouse, CDSL and the NCDEX was not replying properly to my complaint against the warehouse Total logistics I ltd. The depository CDSL also was helpless. NCDEX as usual was acting as a dumb institution. They were not ready to give me the goods deposited in demat account.


On knowing about Akosha on net I contact them. They quickly responded me , their representative called me and ask to give details about my problem. They prepare  a notice and pursue the Opponents to respond. The language of notice given my Akosha, made the opponents to respond and they came to me through mails for settlement.


From the beginning of contacting with Akosha to final redressal of the complaint, the representatives of Akosha were very friendly, cooperative. They called me and kept me updated about the actions taken.
