Mr. Aneesh Vellathu ordered a Toshiba LED Tv through Timtara.com on 27th Jan 2012. Ordered product was not delivered till the date of filing the complaint at online consumer forum. Then Mr. Aneesh decided to file complaint against Timtara.com and got his money refunded.
Mr. Aneesh says:
I ordered a 24inch Toshiba LED TV from the online site timtara.com on
27th Jan 2012. Even after one and a half months they didn't dispatch the item.
Initially through mails timtara
customer care persons kept on postponing the delivery date. Then after
sometime they stopped responding to the mails, needless to say they never
pickup phone calls.
In such a situation I came across Akosha through internet. Akosha provided exactly what I was searching for. Akosha has very simple and effective setup. Their representatives were very helpful and supportive. They first told me about their way of functioning and what I have to do. They called me many times throughout the process and updated me about the progress through phone calls and emails.
Akosha team sent a letter signed by me to Timtara asking them to dispatch the TV within 10 days otherwise face legal actions.
After getting the letter Timtara start responding to the mails and called me two three times. In the end Timtara refunded my full amount.
In a time like this where online shopping is picking up in India team like Akosha is a necessity.
