The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is India"s central bank, with the functions of the Monetary Authority, Regulator and Supervisor of the Financial System, Issuer of Currency, Manager of Foreign Exchange, and the role of developer and banker to the government and other commercial banks. It has 19 regional offices and 9 sub-offices. Apart from these, the RBI also has 5 training establishments and three fully owned subsidiaries.
To get in touch with the RBI Customer Care, the RBI website provides an online form for queries, which are responded to within 48 hours. The customers can also call the head office at Mumbai for any queries that are not answered online. For complaints against RBI, members of the public can contact the complaints redressal cell at each of the regional centers. All RBI complaints are handled by designated officers within a maximum of 35 working days after logging the complaint.
