Deepa's matter against Dell resolved!!

The below testimonial is for Akosha for the excellent way in which my problem with Dell was resolved:


I like Dell products and have been using a laptop for over 6 years and ended up buying a new all-in-one desktop in June 2011. Within a month the machine crashed and that too before i loaded any software or application for my own use. Luckily I didn't have any data to loose!

I called up dell as my system would just end up with a blue crash dump screen anytime i switched on. I did a full reload of the software as per the software helpdesk but again the system crashed on the second day after re-install.

A request was raised for spare parts and a technical hardware person to attend the system as it was well under warranty for 3years on-site. When dell said on-site i never realised they planned to resolve the issue anytime within one year!!!

I was on back to back calls waiting for the Dell guys to come home and rectify my system etc etc. There were weird excuses as it was pooja holidays etc etc..blah blah blah...hardware parts unavailable...engineer unavailable...they came up with every excuse you can remotely think off.

Finally after a month almost about to sue them, i registered a case with akosha and after one week an engineer came to resolve. Finally it seemed to be a problem fo the 4 gb memory card not mounted properly...Now for this silly issue there is a resolution history of within one month. This must be an SLA no company followed or for home users who should think of buying any
such product a second time!

Akosha helped me to deal with the head of Dell and later i found it was dealing with 3rd party vendors to resolve issues such as this. Never mind! The next problem came up within a week and it crashed another time. I didnt know really what to do with the good looking piece of junk sitting on my comp table!

I contacted Akosha back and kept them in the loop to rectify my system...soon a technical guy from Dell showed up and now for once Dell resolved my issues. The computer is back in"shape" for two months and no complaints so far. I appreciate Akosha for helping me dealign with Dell and also Dell's representatives fromt he hardware group who was prompt to solve
the issues thereafter.
