Complaint against TATA AIG resolved!

I have a car insurance policy with tata aig . They did not create the premium payment notice on time , so it ended up having a need for car inspection before renewal of the policy . 
Now they checked the vehicle and were forcing me to fix one or two minor dents and paint the car before renewal. The fixing though very small it would be  costly for me and I was not interested to fix these as those are very normal since I dod drive lots of time in traffic.

I approached the akosha team , they immediately responded back , and withing 2 days tata aig customer care team approached me with  suggestions on renewing the policy . They asked me to exclude the dents from the renewal , which I was ok . Though they promised for immediate renewal , but it did not happened . In between akosha team used to contact me  , when I told them still the renewal is not done , within a day tata aig people called me and renewed my policy . 

I would recommend to all to use this facility for solving the grievances occurred from various products . Since this way you can put some pressure on the companies to come with a suitable solution . Many times they do have various policies to bring out customers from tricky situations , but they never reveal it unless you start taking some legal initiatives against them. 

Complaint Description

I have the following policy Motor Policy No. 0100437334 Package The renewal date was 19th march 2012 , I did not receive the renewal notice , when I called found out it is not generated. by the time renewal notice generated the policy due date was over . Now they had to do a verification of vehicle and renew the policy. After verification they are saying the vehicle has multiple scratches and dents , so they wont renew the policy . From last 3 years I am paying the premium , never had done a claim , these scratches and dents are very minor , not required to fix immediately, and I am not going to claim the cost for fixing these things , cause I won't be able to claim much money , but fixing all will be a huge cost on me , which is just not necessary . All I need either they should renew the policy taking the premium amount or they should pay me the whole money I have paid so far back as I have not claimed any and they are simple refusing to renew my policy giving unnecessary grounds , or they should provide me a new policy . I am not sure what legal action can be taken here .
