I opted for DVD rental service of BigFlix in August 2011, in Nov 2011 they stopped DVD rental service subscription. I don't know why organisation shut down the service without informing me.
There was no communication at all from Bigflix to me. I Contacted many times to the customer care of Big Flix to refund my amount but they didn't responded. Later on they said that i will refund your amount within 45 days but many '45 days gone' but my amount was still not refunded.
Then i searched for consumer helpline on net and i found AKOSHA. Since i was hopeless from Big flix before filing complaint on Akosha.com, but just within 4 days after filing complaint against Bigflix on Akosha, i got a mail from Big flix that we will refund your amount soon. Now I am happy to tell you that finally I have received the payment back from BigFlix. Many thanks to Team Akosha for putting effort.
The way of approaching to the company regarding the complaint by team Akosha is good. There was regular follow up by Akosha representatives to me.Now whenever any problem lies regarding product or services to my colleagues or family member or relatives, i only refer Akosha.com
Complaint DescriptionI opted for DVD rental service of BigFlix, in Nov 2011 they stopped DVD rental service without informing me. Also when I contacted via Phone they asked me to send mail to customer care for refund claim. I did that on 29th Nov and I got the Interaction ID 1606839, after that I have not got any communocation from them regarding my refund. I resent mails but there is no response from them. Kindly look into it. My money is not big but I the approach taken by Bigflix is too bad and against good practice of customer service.
